Swiss Associations in Portugal

According to the results of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), at the end of 2023, 813,400 Swiss nationals were living abroad. Their number has increased since 2022 (+13,400 people or +1.7%). 520,700 Swiss nationals live on the European continent (64%). Portugal has only a small number of Swiss nationals (7,300 at the end of 2023), but the increase recorded in 2023 was the highest among European countries (+13.9%).
